DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO GET AN ESTIMATE?

Estimates are FREE and don't require an appointment. Since Excalibur does not require you to make an appointment to get an estimate, we ask that you set aside approximately 20-30 minutes of your time to have an initial estimate written. For the fastest estimates please download our app and fill out an EASY ESTIMATE. Estimates are written an hour after the start of the business day up to an hour prior to closing. Although scheduling an appointment would be appreciated at most of our locations, walk-ins are always welcome.

DOES EXCALIBUR AUTO BODY OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Payment plans are not offered at this time.  Payment is due in full at the completion of the repair process at the time of vehicle delivery.

CAN I GO TO THE COLLISION REPAIR FACILITY OF MY CHOICE?

Yes, you are able to have your vehicle repaired at any collision repair facility that you choose.

WILL USED OR AFTERMARKET PARTS BE UTILIZED IN THE REPAIR OF MY VEHICLE?

The use of alternative parts such as aftermarket (non oem ) and used, referred to as LKQ (like, kind & quality) is common practice in today’s  collision industry. The use of alternative parts is usually dictated by your insurance policy coverages and varies with each insurance company.    In most cases, the alternative manufacturer/supplier warranty surpasses the OEM warranty, making the choice to use alternative parts a more cost effective repair solution while providing additional peace of mind.   Regardless of this fact, alternative parts are inspected for quality prior to use and should a quality replacement part not be available, your insurance company is notified and OEM parts are utilized to return your vehicle to pre-accident condition.

WHAT IS A SUPPLEMENT AND WHY DID MY ESTIMATE CHANGE?

A supplement refers to additional damages or parts price changes that are supplemental or additional to your initial preliminary estimate.  Although we do our best to write the most accurate estimate possible, we are unable to foresee hidden damages behind exterior panels.  Once a vehicle is in the beginning stage of the repair process, it is torn down and additional repairs and parts may be discovered.  Your estimator will notify you and your insurance company if necessary of any additional items and continue to add the supplemental repairs to your existing estimate.

WHAT DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

Please contact the rental car company for specific information regarding forms of identification, security payments and forms of payment accepted.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

All Excalibur Auto Body locations accept all major credit/debit cards, certified bank checks, cash, and payments issued to you from your Insurance Company.  Personal checks are not accepted.

WHO PAYS MY INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE, WHEN IS IT PAID AND WHO IS IT PAID TO?

When a deductible is due on an insurance claim, it is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to issue payment for the deductible.   Payment is due to Excalibur Auto Body, Inc. upon the completion of the repairs at the time of delivery.

ARE MY REPAIRS GUARANTEED AND WHO GUARANTEES THE REPAIRS?

All the repairs that are performed to your vehicle are under Excalibur’s Limited Liability Warranty for quality, workmanship, material and Excalibur follows the manufacturer/supplier warranty on all replacement parts.  Insurance companies do not warranty the repairs; however they form relationships with collision repair facilities that will stand behind their craftsmanship.   A popular misconception is that if you do not choose to have your vehicle repaired at a facility that is recommended to you by your insurance company your repairs will not be guaranteed.  Excalibur Auto Body stand behind ever vehicle we repair for the life that you own your vehicle.  (see warranty for further details).

HOW LONG WILL MY REPAIRS TAKE?

Every repair cycle-time varies due to type of damages to each individual vehicle.  However, each vehicle goes through the same basic repair process: Estimate-Parts Ordering-Structural & Body Repair-Mechanical-Refinishing-Reassembly-Detail- Pre-Delivery  Inspection.  The length each stage of the repair process takes depends on the extent of the damages.  Your estimator/service writer will be able to give you an estimated completion date based on the best case scenario after your vehicle is torn down and an estimate is completed.  Your estimator will also inform you of any changes to the length of your repairs should factors change such as back ordered parts, supplemental damages etc.

IF I NEED A RENTAL CAR, WHO SETS UP MY RENTAL RESERVATION AND DO I HAVE RENTAL CAR COVERAGE?

Although Excalibur Auto Body can reserve a rental car for you when you schedule your vehicle in for repair, it is highly recommended that if you are having your vehicle repaired under an insurance claim that you contact your insurance adjuster to confirm that you have rental car coverage on your policy and that a the direct bill between the rental car company and your insurance company has been set up prior to appointment date.  Your insurance adjust should provide you with a reservation number at that time.

EXCALIBUR LIFETIME WARRANTY

This Lifetime Warranty applies to the following:

1) Metal repairs performed on or before the date above except for any Rust repairs.

2) All paint repairs performed on or before the date above as stated on the Final bill, except Rust work.

3) The mechanical repairs performed on or before the date above that pertain directly to the collision damage and the work performed to correct the damage, excluding Alignments and wearable maintenance items such as but not limited to Oil filters, Brakes, Suspension parts, A/C recharge, Tires, Batteries, Transmissions, Wheel bearings etc.

4) The installation of all parts installed by Excalibur pertaining to the Repair order listed above.

* Parts warranties will be limited warranties and follow Manufacturer and supplier guidelines.
* This warranty is only valid to the original owner of the vehicle at the time the repairs were performed and is not transferable.
* Excalibur Auto Body cannot warranty repairs or replacement parts that have surpassed the manufacturer and or supplier warranty or have evidence of corrosion due to the environment, elements or damage (i.e. stone chips, tree sap, acid rain, salt corrosion etc.) Collision damage to the repaired vehicle voids any and all warranties.
